(Optional) Adjust the intensity of the LUT by dragging the Intensity slider. A Look-Up Table (LUT) is mathematically precise way of taking specific RGB image values form a source image and modifying them to new RGB values by changing the hue, saturation and brightness values of that source image.

Like presets, though, LUTs can be edited or. A preset can contain a LUT, but a LUT is not generally referred to as a preset. A preset, on the other hand, can adjust a much wider range of image parameters, things like exposure, sharpening and vignetting. Tap the LUT pop-up menu, choose a collection, then select a LUT you want to apply. Basically, a LUT targets a narrower set of image parameters to change (color and tone). To apply any of the default LUTs to a photo, do the following: Photomator comes with 5 pre-made LUT categories, including Cinematic, Color Blindness, Duotone, Grayscale Conversion, and Photo Filter LUTs. LUTs can also be used together with built-in Photomator adjustments. Both are sets of color, shadow, and contrast adjustments that combined give an image a particular look and feel.

In a way, LUTs are similar to the color adjustment presets in Photomator. On the surface, though, LUTs work just like any filter-like color adjustments, only LUTs are universal, meaning, they can be used across different editing programs and different mediums including cinema and photography. LUT (or the "lookup table") offers a means of changing the look of images by altering the color values of pixels that make up those images.
